Is my fermentation stuck or finished?

Looks interesting, I'll have to investigate. Cheers.

Is my fermentation stuck or finished?

Crossmyloof US Pale Ale. First time using this particular yeast so I'm not sure on it's reliability. I've read that some people aren't too keen on it.

Is my fermentation stuck or finished?

Typical, but as soon as I posted this I checked up on it and it's started bubbling again. I think the issue was temperature overnight. I don't have the room for a derived brewfridge or temperature control so i control temperature by moving the fv closer or further away from the back door...

Is my fermentation stuck or finished?

I brewed a west coast IPA on Wednesday evening and it was happily fermenting away until some point last night as when I checked in the morning all airlock activity had stopped, krausen had subsided and all debris on the surface gone. The OG was 1.055 and it has stopped at 1.016. An apparent...

    New crossmyloof 'Haze' yeast.

Did another brew over the weekend with this yeast and last night I had a blow out. And a big blow out. The entire airlock popped out and basically half the dry hop ended up all over the sides of the carboy It's been fermenting all night as what is effectively an open fermentation. Hopefully...

    New crossmyloof 'Haze' yeast.

A pale ale. Maris Otter, oat malt and wheat malt with a 60 minute hop addition, a whirlpool addition and two rounds of dry hops. Smells great Gonna be tough leaving this one a few weeks.

    New crossmyloof 'Haze' yeast.

Not what you asked, but I've got a brew on the go at the minute with the Høg-Norsk yeast. With the good weather we just had I was thought I'd give it a go as it can ferment up to 28 c. I just left it in the kitchen and it was happily fermenting away at 25. Reached FG within 2 and a half days...

    Am I okay to bottle?

Turns out I thought it was Wednesday so it's been fermenting a week rather than 6 days. I'm going to wait a bit though as per your suggestions; hopefully the vanilla will mellow as it gets older because it's very potent currently.

    Am I okay to bottle?

Hi all, I'm currently brewing a vanilla stout. OG was 1.064 and I used US-05 for the yeast. Checking gravity after 2 and a half days it was at 1.018 when I was expecting it to finish at 1.017. Checking gravity the next day it was at 1.017 and again the next and it remained at 1.017. At that...

    New crossmyloof 'Haze' yeast.

Let me know how it goes! I've got the new PiA and Høg-Norsk yeasts too which I'll be having a go at at some point.

    New crossmyloof 'Haze' yeast.

So, this bottle was a lot better. Nice fruity favours but not quite sure they're yeast driven. Good balance between hoppiness and maltiness. I'd definitely use it again and would be interested in seeing how it copes with a NEIPA style beer. I'm planning a single hop Apollo DDH pale ale which...

    New crossmyloof 'Haze' yeast.

This bottle was slightly oxidised too which stripped back quite a bit of the hoppiness but I'd say it wasn't malt forward. Gonna pop another bottle tonight and hopefully that one will be better. I'll give an update. In terms of the yeast itself, flocculation was alright. Not as good as US-05...

    New crossmyloof 'Haze' yeast.

I've just done a brew using this yeast. I'm new to this whole homebrew thing so this was my first foray away from US-05. I was quite happy with it though, and true to the name it produced a nice hazy beer. This bottle wasn't ready yet (i was too keen) but still showed promise. Here's a photo:
