    Winter ale

Just bottled my second one in four weeks, both finished at 1.019. Quite a few of the first batch have gone, very nice indeed, first one took 26 days and the second 18 days so you just have to wait!

    Nelson's Revenge final gravity

The last Nelsons I did (Dec 2018) had a starting ABV of 1.052 and finished at 1.013. 5% ABV it took 19 days in the FV at around 22 degrees, it cleared and carbed in about two weeks but tasted really great after 6 weeks!

I was using the Bleach & Vinegar solution but even with the exact quantities I still had a brew with a slight Bleach taste so I don't use it anymore!

    Winter ale

I don't think it is that mulled at all, its just a really nice beer that you can tell is seasonal, the flavouring that comes with it says put in on day 4, I put mine in on day 7, you could always not bother with it!

    Bulldog, Evil Dog Double IPA

Mine started at 1.062 ended at 1.006 but took 34 days in the FV. Its been a really good strong beer but I agree with others its not that hoppy.

I use them all the time apart for kegging and have never had a problem, 500ml though

    Winter ale

Yes it was slow but possibly because it was pimped up a bit (500g DME), also I was away towards the end of the fermentation so can not be totally sure when it finished, I would guess between day 20 and day 23

    Winter ale

I think the Nelsons Revenge is a great kit as it is, but is far better when about 6 months old, if you can wait that long!
