Cheers. Ive just downloaded, cor that no chill selection box near enough doubles the IBUs!..took the bittering hops out of my recipe and it looks about reasonable now which i think is in line with other people's thoughts

So maybe the way forward here is to not add any bittering hops at the boil and save them for flame out?....at this point are people keeping them in the kettle whilst cooling or chucking them in the cube instead?

Yeh this is the issue...as i like the idea of no chill but im mostly into pales and ipa's....i can see that it will be fine on the rare occasion i make darker beers

Just had a proper mare with my siphon getting stuck and having to keep sucking on a tap to get the thing going again. Would rather not have to do that again. A few yrs back i did buy an autosiphon but chucked it as it was crap, kept bubbling and getting stuck, in hindsight it was prob a bit...

Yeh i managed to get a similar fridge in good nick off facebook market place for £70 plus delivery. This was just before the lockdown came in though so it would be tricky to do that now i guess.
