    Collecting Bottles

Think marstons and sharps ones used to be good. I used to let 3 or 4 sit (filled so fully submerged) in a bowl of warm water for about half hr, they shoul peel off relatively easily, if not they're not worth bothering with. To finish off scrape with a blunt knife and rub with brillo pad

Keg kingdom bottle filler beer gun

Anyone ever tried this? Price seems to be very competitive compared to the blichmann one and the Aussie one. Was wondering if it comes with a catch (e.g. lower quality etc)? Bottle filler beer gun

    The Coronavirus thread.

Staggered exposure I guess - ultimately (in the wider context of evolution) we all need to be exposed to it and develop (some level of) immunity to it, it just needs to be done in a way that won't overwhelm the NHS, so a gradual relaxation of the lockdown over time perhaps?

    Brand New Corny Keg

In my humble one, if it's brand spanking then prob a rinse through (to get any dust out) will prob suffice before sanitising as normal.

    Brew Uk

I think people need to be a bit more patient to be fair. Would they rather staff were actually boxing up and dispatching orders or would they rather staff were take away from those tasks to be answering emails/phone calls? (given that, if staff were prioritised to do the latter, the former is...

London beer factory - hazey daze

Love this beer and it's slightly stronger cousin dance juice...this has reminded me to try and get a recipe for these, if i find either (as i suspect the former is a slightly weaker version of the latter) will let you know

    Still using kits

IIRC the St Peters kits came in two cans (the ruby one did anyway) so you could just do a half batch.

    Water profile in Essex

Have you seen Strange Steve's excellent threads re. testing using Salifert kits (for alkalinity and Ca)? I would recommend them as levels fluctuate over time so it's better to test on the day and make any necessary adjustments using CRS / Lactic and Calcium Sulfate / Cholride where necessary
