    It was meant to be a lia fail clone 23 litres but i added some torrified wheat to aid a good head. Wish i hadnt bothered as it was a variable i didnt need now that im trying find a problem. I expect a bit hazy but this is cloudy and cant see thru a pint its much more murky than i expected...

    Thats great thanks for the reply. Confirmed what i had thought from what ive been reading. Will prob jist use for scottish 70/80 and bottle the ipa until i can afford corny keg set up. Cheers again. Appreciated

    Next hoppy one hopefully be clearer as now have a hop spider. That brew i just chucked them in. No bag or anything haha.

    Thanks very much. I def take that on board. Makes a lot of sense. I may have to invest in a fridge/temp control set up afterall. Hopefully that sharp taste will go with time but with what im hearing i cant say im too confident it will clear. I will let you know how it goes. Again all advice...

    Oh i left out i let the wort cool overnight as didnt have hoses for my chilling coil. I saw on youtube this is usually fine but maybe that was my problem ...i jst cooled overnight and pitched in the morning

I jist had it in spare rm which is usually About 21-22deg C , i didnt notice the smell as i bottled it which i cant fathom but the bottles i opened to test def had that smell/taste.
