    American Pale

Well if it ends up to hoppy. I'm sure you could arrange a keg swap without to much trouble.

6.73L/kg seems a little on the sloppy side or are you doing a full vol mash? Recipe looks tasty though. Happy brewing

    Kegorator or Keezer

I think I like the idea of a tall fridge more. As it would leave space to build a little bar, also the taps are at a better height I also think that look a little better but that is obviously very subjective.

    Kegorator or Keezer

Sounds like a good plan Hmmmmm......this reminds me that I really need a better method than lifting my 60L fermenter into the top fridge compartment on my Ferm chamber.

    Kegorator or Keezer

Would never of thought about that, sound like something worth doing even of your not planning to move it around much.

    Kegorator or Keezer

I think this is why I am having difficulty. I'm not really constrained by anything other than the amount of beer I want. Size, space, location, weight and all other factors are not really a concern. Oh well, good problem to have I suppose.

    Kegorator or Keezer

Hi, I know there is a fair bit of discussion about theese, I have read a lot of it but still can't make up my mind. So all my fittings have turned up and despite scouring the internet and local shops I can't seem to find a second hand fridge or freezer that satisfies what I want. Starting...

    Nitro Cider

You shouldn't really get the cream flow without the stout tap/restrictorplate. Any nitro in the cider should dissipate within seconds of pouring. Sure it's not optimal hence why there are no commercial examples, should still work and be an effective pour though.

    Nitro Cider

Will be absolutely fine to dispense, won't be great for carbonation though.

    going to keg

Good to hear you are getting on well with the kegs. Just a quick one. If you have a standard bottling wand you can just attach it to your party tap with silicone tube. Set the pressure low 5 psi ish, Open the tap and fill bottles wiith your wand as usual it's super easy and controlled. No...

Yer it's ok. Was really a test brew for my new kit. Don't get me wrong the beer is good quality but I didn't really give the recipie is as much thought as I normally would. Also did find a couple of niggles in the system which probably effected the end product at least a little. As well as...

    All about lager

Ok thanks very much for all the input guys. This is what I'm currently looking at. Let me know if you see any glaring errors. Primary for 2 weeks at 12, then slowly rise to 17 for 3ish days. Then cold crash to 0 for 3ish days to clear. Then into keg under pressure 9 PSI Age for 2 months...

    All about lager

Good stuff thanks for the info. For the D-rest is it best to step the temp back down slowly as well or just crash it fast as possible. Also on an experiment last night I found that I can run my fridge onto the minus, should I aim for 2°C or even colder if I can. Cheers

    All about lager

Amazing, Yes I'm looking to get it as crisp and clean as I can as it will be served to people who don't really drink homebrew. Also starting early so I can give it the propped lager process. Many thanks for the wealth of yeast knowledge. Edit- A word
