Tried a bottle of the Wilko Newkie Brown tonight. After 6 days in the bottle (day 21) which is what instructions say & I have to say it was very nice 😊 Quite dark more like a stout NOT a brown ale.

For anyone who has brewed Wilko's Winter Ale. What did you brew it too? It says 32 pints but instructions say 16 litres which isn't 32 pints It's 28. 18 litres is 32 pints. Also how long did this take in fv ? Thanks

Hi terrym, Yes ALL bottles have (still are) in a box in the spare bedroom. Temperature has been very warm this last 10 day's or so but been above 70 every day since bottling. The lager to me atleast was drinkable. Like I said 1st was fine, with good head and lots of bubbles rising to the top...
