Yeh the sweetened yeast matey... I just add water to lower the alcohol a bit to 5-6% ish
Otherwise it's a bit like falling down juice ðŸËÆ

Aye, tap is handy too, although I only use the tap now for taking a sample to measure gravity with, use siphon tube for racking etc..

I haven't come across AJ cartons that have preservatives in then so you should be OK there...
I find cider can quite often start and complete fermentation without much to notice... usually a low foam (if any), but does usually change colour (lightens) once it's gotten going.

So..
Poured away 1/2 dozen bottles of easy rose with summer fruits that I'd made with the now cursed roiboos tea...grrr
