    pub bench seating.

Anyone made a bench seat? wife is pretty decent with a sewing machine. I'm wondering about doing this at the back end of my home pub. I don't want leather though - dog likes to come in and would rather use fabric. Just wondered if anyone had made anything similar and had any advice.

    3" stainless tap shank?

found a 2" one on brewuk, will see how that fits before getting the other 5. annoying really, I tend to avoid brewuk, just take ages to get anything delivered. see how they fare.....and fit.

    Brewdog in trouble again

I've really never like Brewdog. It's a company that seems to be built around "banta" culture, all their stunts and rubbish have (finally) come back to bite them in the rear. Sure over the years they've put out some interesting stuff, and they've made themselves a fortune doing it. But they are...

    Leeds or Norwich.

https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/norwich-amateur-brewers-festival-2021-tickets-152922247559 think this is being delayed but why not bolt on some time with other brewers.

    Hudson1984 Homebar Build

Well i'm slowly getting back in action. been shifted to a pergola that SWMBO wants, and that needs finishing before the patio goes down on the 8th so time is against me. Happily the roof has been delayed so i've had some time to press on with the bar. The actual bar itself is now built...

    How many of you have?

I live in a village with no pub. We had one or two but both are pharmacies now. town next door us a few but none are really appealing too much weatherspoons and copies. i do agree with the use it or lose it. But I also believe they need to draw you in somehow. Long gone are the days when...

    BBQ Extraction

So, i'm building a pergola outside the brewhouse (garage) part of it will be a bbq area with a serving bar. Now I don't want to die. So i'm wanting to extract the fumes if possible. I mean the pergola will be open at the front and long side, but there are walls and will have a roof. so...

I'm going round in circles and need to decide once and for all.....

yeah the brewing area is ok for movement to be fair. the snub nose is purely because I've had good results brewing under pressure but I have no desire to harvest yeast so the snub works well for my requirements. Plus I like seeing it all doing its thing. Temp control is fine, I have a couple...

anyone recommend a Kopperberg style kit?

so, i've found a cider kit I really like. https://www.hamsteadhomebrew.co.uk/WobblyGob-Mixed-Berry-Cider it's a cracking pint, had it on tap and life was good.....until the next morning and it felt like my brain was trying to ingest my eyeballs!! 6.7% is fine for 1 pint.....the 5 or 6 I had...

I'm going round in circles and need to decide once and for all.....

ok so i've gone complete circle again.... Electrician is going to install me a couple of higher rated outlets so I can get a bigger all in one. I'm intending to get: Brewzilla 65ltr (if I can find one!) Fermenter king Max snub nose fermenter 65ltr digiboilI think this is absolutely everything...

    Brewzilla 65l

wonder what the difference is between the beacon and the titan. I'm having the electrics upgraded purely for this kit. I want the 60ltr water heater and the 60/70ltr brewer, so I can have as much water as I want on hand. So i've got the sparky to sort me out 2 outlets that can take the 3.5kw...

    Brewzilla 65l

Hi all, sooo. I sold my 35l version on here, it was a great bit of kit, but I want something bigger to allow multi keg fills from a single brew day. Now i'd been toying with going 3V but the cost is really putting me off. I'm looking at a 65l brewzilla (or a brewster beacon 70l as I can't...

    How many of you have?

yeah I think if I had the spanish way of drinking anywhere close i'd be all over it. I'm with the rest of the views here, it's not really the money that comes into it it's being out and being able to enjoy that. That being said, if it doesn't cost alot and you get a nice beer and a bit of food...

    How many of you have?

last time I went to the pub was in a pool team, that was now 2 years ago. Some of the pubs were ok, others were terrible. to be honest, once I finish the bar at home I can't see me increasing my pub time. I've a better TV better food hopefully better beer. company is hit or miss though :D...

    Pump or hoist?

we're on the same mindset. I'd looked at one of these for the same thing. Low whilst brewing, jack it up for transfer into FV. It's something well worth considering.
