    recommendation for kegerator

Yeah I think i'll end up going that way in all reality....SWMBO would go mad if I spend £500 odd on a fridge lol. I think I can make it work with normal undercounter fridges. Just need to get it built and crack on. Miss having my pub

See this was the old bar, I made the tap tower from 2” pipe section, I’ll do something similar this time around too just want something that’s not a huge chest freezer so yeah a couple of undercounted or this new series x sounds cool

Hmm might have to plump for a kegland one then. They take 4 then perhaps something else to condition stuff that’s not on tap…. Expensive option but don’t want a million fridges and I’ve got a larder fridge for fermenting

    recommendation for kegerator

Hi all, so, after finishing my home bar...we decided to move :) i'm currently planning our new garden pub which will live in a log cabin type thing. I want to have 3/4 things on tap and hold another 3/4 in keg conditioning. Ideally this will be via 2 undercounter type units. I've seend...

Equipment For Sale LARGE chest freezer for sale KEEZER

Hi all, so I bought the chest freezer to fit my old bar layout, but we've moved so it now doesn't fit. It's in great condition, nothing has really been done to it that can't be undone. I removed the wheels and replaced it with furniture movers as of course being full of kegs would be a...

    Hudson1984 Homebar Build

cheers all, I’m pleased for sure. I’d recommend scaffold, our local place sells old boards for £5/6ft so isn’t bad. Just takes a whole load of prep is all I mean a thicknesser makes short work of it but if you’re keen to save it’s a great way to go

    Brewdog in trouble again

you'd think given the current storm around them, they'd just pay the £15k, and just say "the tin in the box was merely a token - we have the actual solid gold one here for safe keeping and the winner is also getting a surprise tour etc etc etc - or of course if they prefer the £15k in cash...

    Hudson1984 Homebar Build

it is indeed. I found furniture moving casters. Hold 500kg, which it sits on. So, remove the front panel (which is removed on the photo) pull out the keezer, lift lid - do necessary work - slide back in, out front door back on

    Hudson1984 Homebar Build

Well, managed to put some more time into the bar build. Managed to finish the tap tower, just awaiting shanks and awaiting taps to be in stock again, but, stain is on, first coat of laquer done too. Decided to get the top sorted before doing the rest. Just wanted to see something finished...

    3" stainless tap shank?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184133688931 I bought these. So this is the brass bush in the front, which reduces it down and fits the shank perfectly. in the back is the brash nut that comes with the shank, so just tighten them together. No play, not movement at all.

    3" stainless tap shank?

Yeah hopefully the ones i've just ordered will fit. I've got flow control nukataps, and ordered 2" shanks from Brewuk. So will hope for the best.

    pub bench seating.

yeah i'll probably go ply and CLS, i'm not too worried about the frame. Think I'll go to dunelm or similar, get some padding, and play around with size etc. Either fix that to a bit of ply to allow for staples or get the wife to make covers. I'm not too fussed about the hairs, he's a...
