Doubble seal screw caps with glue!

No no no dude. throw away the old caps and cut off the extra bit of the cap around the bottle. Then go on eBay and buy some NovaTwist caps. They are seriously the best option when you have screw top bottles. I got like 60. You can reuse them multiple times cos they keep the seal and they are...

Would you still vote for Brexit?

Damn it you’re right, I didn’t answer the question either, and I can’t lol. That’s what you get for skim reading

    Christmas cheer

So is it an actual video or is it a joke?

Would you still vote for Brexit?

No but this isn't 'DID you vote for Brexit?' it's 'would you STILL vote for Brexit?' , see it's totally different and therefore utterly worth discussing. Right? Right?

Would you still vote for Brexit?

Oh I forgot about that! Well done I was of course using the brie as an example of potential food shortages and issues with trade in general, not as my only form of reasoning.

Which movie(s) have you watched recently?

Watched V for Vendetta again. God that is an amazing movie. The book is brilliant as well. I think rather fitting given the current times too.

Has anyone else just had enough?

How many mince pies and Christmas puddings have you eaten so far this December

No mince pies yet, some are coming in a shop in a week or 2. I don’t eat Christmas pudding any more, turns out it’s better in wine lol. That said I may give Christmas pudding ice cream a go one year, I hear that’s cracking

Has anyone else just had enough?

First lockdown I felt like this fairly often. I was working from home for several months at the same time as looking after my 5 year old son who frankly doesn’t particularly like me lol. It doesn’t take much to irritate me and I had no idea what to do with the lad. Also I had to actually do some...

    Apple and Elderflower cordial wine

I find this quite often with solid fruit wines. Sometimes they sort of retain a memory of what they’re made of, tinned pineapple is like that. rhubarb and gooseberry is totally different to normal wine lol fruit juice wines seem to still taste like the juice

    Fermentation completely finishes during primary/bucket

You don't stir it before you strain it? I only strain it to get the lumpy bits of fruit out.

    Fermentation completely finishes during primary/bucket

I standardly strain from bucket to demijohn after a week from adding the yeast. Unless I really want the bucket (I only have 1) to make another brew lol, then it will never be less than 5 days.
