Supermarket Juice Wine How To guide and Recipes.

Finally got some grape juice, so I’ve gone for one suggested on here, Litre of apple juice Litre of pineapple juice Litre of grape juice (2 gallons of course) Is it usually quite dark at the beginning? Considering it supposedly makes a rosé?

Supermarket Juice Wine How To guide and Recipes.

Last year I made lapsang Souchong mead (don’t, seriously) which for some reason fermented more in the bottles slightly and gave it a fizz. It did absolutely nothing to improve the flavour. My dad also made sloe wine many moons ago which had a slight fizz on opening and was delightful.

Supermarket in Poland buys farmer’s misshapen beetroots to tackle food waste

Takes more time to straighten them out with those machines they got, hence the extra cost

Fruit wine, working out how much sugar I need?

I think you need to add approximately 1.1kg sugar to the fruit to reach 14% wine.

Also I do not recommend Bridgerton. I mean look, ok, the girl from Derry Girls did well, and it’s always nice to see/hear Julie Andrew’s back on screen, and the lad in red was good fun, but it just wasn’t. Well it wasn’t what we’re used to. It wasn’t as good as pride and prejudice, or the Alan...

Adding more fruit after primary fermentation

I top up with strong fruit tea sometimes after racking to add flavour. I think twinnings do a strawberry and raspberry flavour which I spect would be good

We’ve been watching Schitts Creek. Cracking show. The first few episodes are a bit slow to get going but if you stick with it it gets brilliant.

    How to clear wine?

Well gas mark 3 is 160 degrees c, if there’s anything still alive on them in that heat it deserves to be there lol. probably makes the detergent at the beginning a bit redundant...

    Why we do this.

Oh quite a standard one then. I wouldn’t have thought you would get such a deep colour from raspberries, that’s brilliant.
