    Just had a bottle of this two months after bottling. It mellowed and does not taste as dry and does not taste so much alcoholic as it did to start with :) - done few wows and even though they are quite quick drinkers they do benefit from couple of months conditioning :)

    I have actually found a new patch of blackberries :) the usual place is in the sun most of the day and those are on way out... the new batch is in the woods and those are just starting... so I was mistaken and I keep on picking! Damn. Running out of space and demijohns :)

    so many different wild plumish species! These however definitely had thorns on (tried it out when dived in for a juicy one to try it :) - still puckers your face but nor so much you not able to actually eat it. Perhaps my description of big as grapes was a bit over the top :) maybe max 1.5 cm...

    I think you have to leave sloe berries a little while longer :) normally after first frost... we’ll probably end of October early November time for sloe. I think with blackberries it depends where in UK you are. I am South East and they are turning mushy and dried up :(
