Coopers or MJ Helles lager kit?

None of the above I know but I've just done a wilkos cerveza as my dirst ever kit and brew and up to now been quite easy and tasted OK last night when was bottled. As long as it carbonates well I can see it being a decent drop.

Brewnight: Strawberry and Lime Turbo cider

Well got mine in tonight after rounding up required gear and a spare hour between bottling the cerveza. Tasted good when mixed so off to brew cupboard to be left alone to do its magic now.

To add citra, cascade or first gold hops to Wilkos cerveza

Well that's it all bottled up. From fv into bottling bucket and batch primed. 44 full bottles so into warm place for couple of days (back corner of living room) then off into cool spot for couple of weeks. Gotta say had a few taste's and it's not bad at all already. Can't wait now...

Top flashing is a lot bigger than what's on show there. That piece is generally used to prop up the row of slates so they run through as level as possible. Where abouts are you located? Dave

    What are you drinking tonight.

Who’s next as Greenwoods Menswear joins the high street casualties?

Plus the days of wearing a shirt. Tie and trousers have gone. My dearly departed grandfather wore a shirt and tie to collect his newspaper. He was buried in a suit. We.ll be collecting our papers in jeans and t shirt and be burnt or buried in the same. Maybe the Levis shop suffering same fate...

    Bottling.

Gravity is key. Getting bucket or fv higher than bottle's or barrel should improve flow vastly. Dave

Brewnight: Strawberry and Lime Turbo cider

Well been to Wilkos today. No yeast in stock and seems apart from finding a lhbs no others stock it. Is there any supermarket yeasts that can be used?

Brewnight: Strawberry and Lime Turbo cider

Three Polish shops later and tracked down strawberry lowicz. Plenty of other interesting ones seems strawberry one is the hardest to find. Pectolase and cider yeast being picked up tomorrow so all being well will be on tomorrow night. Guessing the required sugar is in the syrup hence none...
