    Bottles.

I take all the previous comments on board but plastic is all around us in many different forms, cling film, cold meat, cheese, cereal packets all of which make contact with what we consume and possibly having similar effects. Stress is also detrimental to our health too, so i prefer to...

    Lemon Hooch

Done the lemon and summer fruits. Lemon is crystal clear with yellow tinge reminds me of a **ss after drinking 2 pints of water  Summer fruits is a fantastic bubble gum pink. IMHO there not exactly alcopops but looking at ingredients and effort they're a tasty little drink...

    St. Peter's IPA...any good?

Gotta be worth sticking it on if it was free, maybe do a starter to give the yeast a chance.

    Over primed keg

If it's a standard keg it should have a pressure relief valve, this is why barreling is safer than bottling  it will just vent itself. You could help it along by pulling the rubber band down with the top of your nail after a week or so.

    Drat and bugger

As a long time LGV driver I feel your pain dude  Iv had several run ins and may even have one pending - those camera vans now have a port hole at the FRONT in case you didn't know. I wouldn't worry too much about a paltry 3 points lol it MAY make no difference, apparently there are so...

How to make a keg level indicator

I think you may be right Gods' maybe a magnet could be put on the outside instead of the ball bearing. Drag the magnet on the outside down until the resistance stops and there's your level, then again you would still need to attract the egg in first place. Just thinking aloud

    Where to start

Without repeating previous advice, maybe consider your supplier? On line is usually cheaper but LHBS (local home brew shop) can be a mine of help and information and competitive. Then again you are a Yorky

    Young's American IPA temperature

16 is a bit low I don't go below 18! It will take longer, can't see why it will matter unless your in a rush. The only brew Iv ever done higher was a New world saison. Hope this helps. Rob.

    DME vs LME

Snip the top off the bag, stir wort, sprinkle in! As long as it doesn't stick to your paddle it'll be reet. Yeast doesn't take any prisoners  Rob.

    Young's American Mocha Porter

To work your ABV out you'll need a gravity reading taken by hydrometer before you pitch (add) yeast, with liquid temperature of 20' ish. Then take a gravity reading when your brew has finished, 3 days consecutive with readings the same. I can't remember the formula but there are lots of online...
