I used a can of it in a festival golden stag kit but preferred the end result when I hadn't used it.

Checked my gravity today and it was on 1005 down from 1060 so looking at over 7%!! Decided to chuck my hops in and I'll transfer to PB in a couple of days.

Christ, this stuff is relentless, I've got a 5 inch gap between the top of the beer and my airlock and I've had to clean it out twice this morning already!!

Started mine on Saturday, it's got about 3 inches of foam on top now and is bubbling away like mad!

If you're lucky enough to live near a homebrew shop then use what you've got, you just need to buy a cylinder and give it a 1 second blast when the pressure drops off (before it sucks any air back through the beer)

I've used these since I started (only a few months ago)and I've found them to be brilliant, I've got 3-4 Pbs on the go and haven't had to get it refill it yet.

Well the fruity mouthwash taste has subsided thankfully! It's actually quite drinkable now although 4 pints at 7.5% on a school night leaves me a bit sketchy in the morning on a 6am start at work! Still nowhere near as hoppy as I was hoping and there would be a other kits I tried before coming...

Are there actually any decent taps out there that don't drip?! I've got 4 pressure barrels (3 standard and a King Keg top tap) all with different taps and all of them drip, not massive amounts, don't get me wrong, but enough to be a pain in the arse! It's not all from the barrel/tap seal either...
