    Maltodextrin

I haven't noticed that, only adding body and mouth feel, it's basically a non fermenable and does not add flavour or sweetness. As for head retention I'm not sure how much effect it does have as that improves over time.

    Your favourite radio station.

Absolute 80s. Must be my age.

    Dancing on thin ice

Well it is too me. What a joke all 40s and the guy who won every single show looses, even after doing the first backward flip on ice, it's a joke. It's just a popularity contest.

    Maltodextrin

I have noticed the difference adding this, I've only added 250g so far but think 450g to 500g would be even better to a 40 pint brew of bitter or strong barleywine types. Does everyone else have any thoughts on this.

    Tom Caxton Real Ale

I don't think a traditional bitter is supposed to be hoppy or is that just me but Tom caxton is an old one, mabe all our Twang came with straight tap water as I never treated it then and now there's a mile of difference to me. Also like Terry said the added extras as apposed to loads of sugar...

Elder flower champagne - batch guidance required

You could add the non fermenable sugar when you prime and so use a dry bottle to find out how much you need to back sweeten first.

    Any whisky connoisseurs?

Aberlour is my favourite pricy one and a great quaffing cheap as chips easy drinking whiskey is sainsburys own bended whiskey, I'm not a fan of smokey peaty whiskey.

    Organ Donation?

Wow that could be dangerous, where would they stop £3 month for donkey's and everything else on the planet. I can't say I'm into mandatory myself but Mabe they should have, at least it's honest and upfront.

    Organ Donation?

I think when the initial freedom of, to make a choice is taken away then its no longer a donation in my view. It becomes something you must decide on or else. It will be interesting to see how things pan out.

    Organ Donation?

It's now something you must think about opting out doesn't make them arsoles imo it's there choice.

    Organ Donation?

I think the gov are aware a hell of alot of people won't go to the trouble of finding and signing the forms to opt out and so gain millions of doners by default. I know donation is an important gift but I'm on the fence a bit with this one as to how they have done it, catching people out so to...

    Organ Donation?

It seems that organ donation is no longer a donation. The gov soon will own any usable part of you without concent, should the word donation be dropped.? Thoughts?

    Wood burners

I can't see how all this could be policed anyway but unless you cut or buy in good loads as most do its the poor in towns who will struggle with rocketed prices I think.

    Curry...!!

I would use this to a curry for 4people so you can scale it up or down as long as enough to cover the meat. It's only a level teaspoon that you could find in a biscuit mix. No don't wash your meat as the little left on will disappear and cook out in your chosen marinade.

    Curry...!!

This pre marinade is only a 30 min tenderising and doesn't add flavour so your marinade is still needed for that. Just try it and compare with your normal and give me your feedback.

    Curry...!!

No it activates the bi carb, trust me I got this after years of searching from the winners of Gordon ramsays TV comp winning restaurant head chef of sweet manderin in Manchester. Any left on the meat mixes away and cooks out in your marinade. Its actually two tables of corn but enough lemon to...

    Any foragers out there?

Yes alot prefer the pluck to the rest but I used to swap most of my game for bacon sausages and lamb chops. I really got sick of game at the time ha.

    Any foragers out there?

At least you got something back ha, Hope you had time to bleed it, I do think venison in particular needs that, I have to say I prefer all our deer over red, I know the age of the beast matters but find red the most gamier of them all. Can't beat crispy hot lamb for my taste.

    Any foragers out there?

Grey Squirrel to me is more like rabbit than chicken but tougher and a bit gamier flavour but like Pete says more fiddle than its worth, I only ate some of them them because I used to trap loads. I love mediteranian style rabbit stew though.
