Just driven from my home in Disley to Liverpool and had to take the scenic route due to the M62 being closed. Every petrol station was either closed due to no fuel or had a massive queue outside. Humans are a funny lot 🤦♂️. Fortunately my Kodiaq returned an impressive 52mpg en route a
so I'll...
All the extract in one pouch, you just need to add 1kg of brewing sugar or 1.2kg of the light malt extract. I always go for the latter as you get a better result I think.
Couldn't resist I put a bottle in the fridge earlier and I've just sampled it. Without doubt the best MJ kit I've done. Beautiful mango aroma, a crisp zesty carbonation on the tongue, a really full mouth feel. I'm more than happy with this and it will be even better in about a week or so. I'm...
Mangrove Jacks Helles Lager in their craft series range is very good. No faff just put it in the bucket add some hops after about 7 days. I bottled after about 9 days and 3 weeks later I had a lovely lager to drink.
An interesting thing about Staropramen is yes the stuff you get in the UK is now made under licence and is truly nasty, however Sainsburys own brand Czech Pilsner is made by Staropramen in the Czech Republic, basically its genuine Staropramen. Funny when you look on the shelves and the stuff in...
Just after some opinions, my lovely wife has just bought me 2 5 litre dark farm kegs with all the taps etc. I've filled one with some beer and about 15g of brewing sugar which I them plan to fix the tap to and use the Co2 capsule to dispense. Is this the best way to do it? Or on my next one due...
Just put this into bottles and my dark farm keg today, it looks and smells amazing even better than the Juicy IPA. Started at 1052 and finished at about 1012 so a very nice 5.2%. I'll be back with a tasting report soon 🍺🍺
Society as a whole has become cheap and disposable with little care for anyone or anything else. This sadly is not a minority, humans have become more selfish as the years pass by and eventually it will be our downfall. Unless we radically change which I don't think we will we'll go the same way...
It was Liverpool v Athletic Bilbao that day and judging by the attire these "men" and I use that term very loosely had been to the match. I work on the railway around this area, cctv is very good on the trains and stations so I would imagine the BTP will have a good idea where they got off and...
Not sure of that particular thread you saw but beermerchants.com always have an excellent supply of German beers. 10% off too if you sign up to the newsletter.
It's not cheap the top spec Hybrid will cost you £50K however in the reviews I've seen the cars are fully loaded and the comparable BMW,Mercedes or Range Rover will set you back well over £100K
I've currently got a Skoda Kodiaq but I'm very tempted by the new Hybrid Sorrento, it's a fabulous car inside and out. If you need a big 7 seater like me I don't think there is better out there.
My wife has got a Kia Piccanto GT Line, brilliant little car, very well specced, excellent on mpg and the 1.0 turbo engine makes it great fun to drive. The 7 year warranty is very nice to have too.
Just put the Hazy IPA into a few 5 litre kegs, it started off at 1044 and made it down to 1008 so I'm happy with that. I have to say it smelled fantastic and the little taste I had of it was really good. Very much looking forward to chilling a keg and enjoying it in a few weeks.
