Brewed one of these before and have another on the go just now. did it take 35 days to fully ferment?. Hows it tasting?

Coopers Irish stout is good young imo. Extremely drinkable at a month old.

Will that's the kit bought, settled for an IPA at 4.2% The instructions state not to over tighten cap, it's actually a nice fit ie you know when it's tight enough. The kit is supposedly ready to drink after 30 days. It comes with 2 pints of malt extract in the bag. Nothing ventured etc..

Perhaps when it's ready pour it into 2 litre juice bottles?

I buy the 30 bottle Solomon Grundy kits quite often, brew them short to 21 litres. Quite decent imo

Solomon Grundy reds are ok. I brew short to 21 litres instead of 23

When taking a gravity reading towards the end of fermentation i always give it a few sips to check for off flavours.
