    Hi In the middle of doing a stout myself, my temp dropped to 16 degrees and it still was fermenting albeit quite slowly. I moved it to a warmer place and it sped up. I suppose if it's get at 18 it should be fine

    Does seem rather a high temp, i recently done this kit at around 22 degrees and it came out really well, im sure the instructions say somewhere around 20-25. Would try and cool it down a little in my opinion, im by far an export tho! Stevie

    Nah, will check for scratches at the bottom of the glass when I've finished this ipa I've just Poured. I remember the pubs used to do this back in the day to get a decent head

    Hi Poured a irish stout and I often notice with my brews a fizz coming up from the bottom of the pint. Is it just the carbonation?.

    Well my Muntons BIAB was a bit of a disaster. Not that much carbonation, the bag did not inflate to bursting point as I've read other folk have experienced. Perhaps a faulty cap? Anyway, had half a pint and the beer tasted very weak. My sink drank the rest...
