Hello Been making beer and wine for nearly 2 years now and so far ive been pleased with my efforts, recently bought a fermentation fridge which i will use on my next batch. Would be good to hear feedback from those who use a fridge for temp control and to see if this has made your beer/wine...

    Bulldog, Evil Dog Double IPA

If you are happy with the carbonation then 2 weeks is about right, your next post mentions taste, the beer does tend to improve with age. Its good to build up a stock, im currently drinking a few of a batch that is about 6 months old. I always leave a few to age over say 4 months. Easier said...

What’s the strongest beer you’ve brewed?

8.5% would be a bit much for me lol, done a few kits that came out at around 7.5% which were fine albeit deceiving as i was half cut after 4 or so. I did not know that the higher the alcohol content the more calories they have. With this in mind i was going to have my brews this year at around...

    Bulldog, Evil Dog Double IPA

Done this kit a few times, not tasted it on day 5 but did find it took a while to condition due to the higher alcohol content (i think?)t. It does knock your socks off tho!

    Cost of Beer Kits

I started homebrewing when the Gov up here introduced minimum pricing per unit of alcohol, currently at 50p a unit. However after my first brew was a success which was a Youngs IPA , i was just delighted that i could make beer myself and the cost went flying out the window. I do however shop...
