    Coffee

Wife and myself we both like milky coffee like cappuccino or flat white. We have bough before xmas Sage Bambino Plus - before we had a delonghi espresso machine - Sage so much better and steamed milk great as well. Got burr grinder before and that as well improved taste. We mainly get our coffee...

    Snow Day Brew Day.

Way to cold in the shed to brew. I have next week of and will be doing Festival Razorback - only kit, but already have 2 kegs full from previous brews - Cutch clone and German Altbier both all grain.

    Re: Festival Razorback IPA Review

I just bought this kit, I fancy something different than I have in kegs. With current weather I can't be bothered with AG. Lets hope it meet my high expectations. Shout out to Brew2Bottle - brilliant price with shipping !

Getting labels for your home brew.

This Labelizer is superb. Used many times, very easy to use. Might not have ability to design from scratch, but for people without design skills (like me) it is perfect

What is your favourite German beer recipe?

I just packaged altbier from Greg Hughes book "North German Altbier". Used Wyeast 1007 , done the starter and it fermented really quickly. It blew off the lid on the fermenter clapa Initial taste after just before Keging was really encouraging , lets hope it gets even better. Sorry not a bottom...

    Kegerator Outside

I have a small chest freezer in my shed (not insulated) works fine, no problems at all, despite few freezing cold nights. Bough mine second hand from Facebook marketplace for £20. Small modification to add timber collar and I have kegerator. Very easy to turn back to regular freezer. Total cost <£30

    Pub quality extract kit.

After reading all the post, Festival Razorback looks good, I might give it a go. Thanks Chaps

    Pub quality extract kit.

Extract kit cannot be really compare with all grain brewing. It like comparing cake mix with baked from scratch cake. Anyway, Mangrove Jack kits always came out pretty good for me. Cheap coopers lager was drinkable, but I wouldn't say good. But, all grain brews were always better then any kit.

How to be happy in 2021 (despite everything)

Very good ideas. Especially about the job, I'm in one I truly love, and it is not that well paid if I move to private sector. But friends who did hate theirs job. I would add one more: 7. At least once a week do a small act of kindness for a stranger - will make you feel better

What are you drinking tonight 2021?

Just finishing my saison, don't expect more than 2-3 pints left in the keg - nice beer, but I wouldn't say it is a winter beer. But I have already finished my stout :)

Arise Sir Lewis the tax dodger

But those kind of people that earn a lot always want to find those loopholes, why just not paid what is owed.

Arise Sir Lewis the tax dodger

He doesn't live in Monaco because it is a convenient location, he lives there so he doesn't have to pay any taxes to HM revenue - taxes that fund Police, NHS, Education and so on. He should not be given Knighthood if he is not a resident of the UK.

    Brewing outside in low temperatures

Brewed yesterday on the patio, was quite nice day, no wind - but it was around 3 degrees. I was thinking about postponing it, but as I had a starter on the stir plate, I couldn't really. Most was fine, cleaning was very cold and I had to clean some of the equipment in the kitchen - wife wasn't...

What can you buy that's made in Britain

Unfortunately not many things are made here or made without raw materials/parts coming from abroad. At least most of the beers we can make with British grains/hops. We will still be able to get staff from abroad, there is just a possibility it might be bit more expensive.

Would you still vote for Brexit?

Let me help you there, as it appears you are not able to follow provided link, which from 2019, so not that old. Headquarters - if you need explanation what a headquarters of operations is, you would need to educate yourself on that. Dyson manufacturing was already moved to Malaysia few years...

Would you still vote for Brexit?

Really? You are not able to connect the dots? Tax system the suits Dyson better and ability to trade freely with the EU. If he believed own words, he would have stayed here, invest in British market and employed local people. Why? Many reason, have a read here: LINK I'm still waiting for...

Would you still vote for Brexit?

Not to the EU, but the country than back than had a free trade agreement with EU - UK still doesn't

Would you still vote for Brexit?

I mean that text of agreement was basically copied and pasted from what EU has negotiated. They as well are called continuity agreements. I think HSBC would be very upset with you: From Wikipedia: HSBC Bank plc is a British multinational banking and financial services organisation. Yes...
