    New CML yeasts

I'm planning to do warm fermentation soon. Big box full of water, aquarium heater and temp controller (I got a spare one - lots of aquarium heaters come with own thermostat) , put fermenter in and hopefully it will keep temp at around 30.

    Bulk hops.

If you don't mind doing 250g each, I will take Mosaic and Hallertau.

Rust - Removal or steer clear?

From the picture, main bit that rusted were handles and bolts - is there any rust inside? Maybe the handles are made from cheaper materials?

    Snoring

I'm on the other side, I'm the one that snores. For last couple of years we sleep in separate beds. Been tested for any issues, problem with how my nose is build - only operation can fix it, it might not but it will be quite painful afterwards. Didn't go for it, nose plasters don't work either...

    going to keg

Thanks Harry, I think I can find space in the shed, but this is not really ideal place. My shed is around 30 meters away (long garden) form the house. I'm good with DIY, no problem there. Second problem, if I buy second hand, those things are huge and I have only Astra - don't know anyone with...

    going to keg

Thanks @Hoddy , sounds like great idea. Already thinking about second keg and possibly second fridge :D, I still might need one for fermenter. Another question from me: With second keg, if I want to have 2 different carbonation levels, I guess I have to use a manifold, but non of them have...

    going to keg

Thanks @Graz and @Markk Mark, you fridge looks really great like that. With serving beer lines, how often do you clean it? I guess if it not used in couple days it can go bad and affect all beer your pour? I'm not a regular drinker, sometime don't drink any beer for 3-4 days. At the beginning...

    going to keg

looks great :) Did you split gas line? or have a manifold back there as well? And does gas cylinder needs to be in the fridge as well?

    going to keg

Just connected everything to check it out, quick soapy spray and nothing seem to be leaking gas. I have used PTFE tape on all threads - hope it is OK to use it? I might need bigger fridge lol. Current one will hold ONLY one keg.

    going to keg

Keg arrived saturday at work, so that was very fast shipment. It does show it age, might buy brand new one next time, only £20 difference. As I'm now fermenting lager, I will put into keg and plan to do 30psi for few days and lower it to like 5psi for laggering? With ales, after initial...

Busy day today, brew Augustiner Helles lager clone, bottled Saison and labelled wilko Red Devil that is now ready to drink - quite decent beer that one.

What piece of equipment has become invaluable that you wouldn’t expect?

auto-syphon - use it to transfer beer, bottle beer and such. So much better than just normal tube :)

Going for this one to start with: https://brewkegtap.co.uk/collections/keg-kits/products/standard-keg-kit-with-deluxe-party-tap I think it is right for me, but happy for suggestions - I got a fridge and that's it - all in the shed Some questions if...
