I have 2 super 30 cylinders surplus to my requirements, one full and still wrapped and one nearly full. £15 for both if anyone wants to collect them.

    iSpindel - digital WiFi hydrometer

With the tilt, I think you can only connect with bluetooth, meaning you have to be close by (correct me if I'm wrong). With the i-spindel, I can check fermentation wherever I am, using ubidots education.

Do you consider this Home Brewing?

Also how big are the pods going to be? They've got to contain a kilo of grain, and hops, and do the hops go into the mash? and what about the yeast? Is that part of the pod or do you have to add it after the boil? Is there a boil involved? Is there a go fund page for this somewhere? It just all...

Do you consider this Home Brewing?

5 litres in 2 weeks (minimum) :laugh8: I'd have to buy at least 4 of them to keep up with my son's visits.

    iSpindel - digital WiFi hydrometer

I have one of these. When I first got it I calibrated it and put formula in etc. However they are only accurate if you calibrate them regularly, i.e lots of wasted sugar and water. I only monitor temperature and tilt now, when it has flatlined for a couple of days, I know fermentation has...

    Drones close airport.

Some kid should get a good hiding for it. Schools packed up yesterday and this happens last night. Trouble is anyone can buy one made in china for about £25. They say it's not terror related, but if they're scared to let planes take off for a whole day; surely it's the same thing?

    Beer Advent Calender

Well, I had a weeks holiday last week, so had to catch up in a couple of days. ;-) #9 Spaten Optimator, a doppel bock @7.6%, quite liked this one. #10 Roosters twenty four seven @4.7%, not bad but the citrusy IPA's are a bit samey. #11 Pirate life Mosaic 7% citrus again. #12 Mikkeller...

    Beer Advent Calender

I saved fridays and had 2 today. #7 Patagonia Santa Punch, 7.2% . Another citrussy/peachy IPA. You can really taste the strength of this one, quite nice, but far too strong (for me). #8 All Caps American pilsner 4.5%. A light bodied, hoppy pilsner with a citrus hint. Very fizzy, it took about 5...

    Beer Advent Calender

#6 The wild beer co. Sleeping lemons. 3.6%. I liked the colour, but that was about it. I found it really sour, and thin. Yuk!

You didn't have to look though.

    Beer Advent Calender

Busy couple of days, so 3 at once today. #3 was saucery session IPA 3.9% I quite liked this one, a citrusy/floral pale. Quite a dry finish and refreshing, at an ABV which I would go for if on a session. #4 Thornbridge Mint choc chip Lacuria 4.5%. Not quite sure what the lucaria bit's about...

    Beer Advent Calender

Number 2 is Westmalle trappist dubbel. First time I've tried this, and I have to say I found it to be rather good. I poured it slowly so there wasn't much head, and my glass killed the rest of it I think. It didn't have a strong aroma, just slightly fruity/yeasty, which didn't give much of a...

    Beer Advent Calender

Just sampled the 1st of my Beerhawk advent calender. First up, Sierra Nevada California IPA. I'm guessing most of us have tried this before. I judged it to have a grapefruit, slightly sulphurous aroma, quite highly carbonated with a light body and a dry finish. Overall score 29/40. I'd...

    Geterbrewed

I order from everywhere, and my stuff gets delivered by different couriers. Maybe it's where I live, or maybe I've just been lucky; but I honestly can't remember having cause to complain about any of them. Just thought I'd share my positive experiences.

    Santa's wish list 2018

I'm not worried about deterioration, I'm more concerned about the size of the crush as I use the grainfather now.

    Santa's wish list 2018

Not entirely sure, but probably something like this one: http://www.thehomebrewcompany.co.uk/the-blue-bollix-grain-mill-2-roller-p-2913.html Not sure if I need a 3 roller or 2, so need to do a bit of research.
