    Who’s a plastic City fan ?

But if you've never seen your team play, even when they were in league 1, your not a supporter. That's just jumping on a successful bandwagon. That's why a supporter, who pays to watch his team would call someone who never does, but moans about their performance, a "plastic fan". Your not...

    Who’s a plastic City fan ?

It only makes you a plastic fan if you never go to watch them, I'm a Spurs season ticket holder, but never lived in tottenham. I started supporting them before I started school back in the 60's. Currently trying to find a way to get to madrid cheaply enough for 1st June acheers.

    STC 1000 copies?

I have 2 inkbird 308's (one of which I won on this forum). They truly are plug and play, simple and reliable to use. The older one, I have had for about 3 years, no problems whatsoever. I believe they are quite accurate also. You can't go wrong at the price, and no complicated wiring to set up...

    David Heath Called out ?

You think? Have you evidence to back that up? I don't really care either way, maybe I have been taken in, but I haven't seen anything to suggest an imposter. The writing style seems pretty similar to his narrative on the videos.

    What do you use/prefer?

You are correct, I recalibrate mine every brew day. It's quite simple to catch vapour from the kettle, you only need one drop.

Refractometer on brew day, hydrometer thereafter.

    weighing down nylon hop bag

I mainly use leaf hops, and just chuck 'em in when dry hopping. There's never any dry cones when I keg and my beer tastes hoppy, and as they float there's not much hop debris in the keg.

    David Heath Called out ?

I have a grainfather, I bought it after a bit of research. The grainfather remains, in my opinion, the best all in one system for it's price. Grainfather's customer service is second to none, and this is what convinced me to buy one. It was after I bought it that I found David's youtube...

Umm. Right.. Is anyone up for a football thread?

Actually the prices are quite reasonable at £4.50, much cheaper than the swill I've been buying at Wembley.

Umm. Right.. Is anyone up for a football thread?

Tottenham season ticket holder. Gutted by yesterdays result, but can't wait to finally get into the new stadium, it looks amazing. Beavertown brew on site as well, so looking forward to sampling their wares.

    Article in Times

My wife and I are camra members. I don't give a toss about the politics of it, we get into beer festivals for free. Four festivals a year and it pays for itself, what's not to like?

    Cooking Fat.

I knew someone who kept pigeons. He used to catch the cats that bothered his birds, and take them in his car to the Isle of Sheppey and let them go. Apparently they wouldn't cross the bridge and never returned.

    New to Corny help please

I vent so I can reduce the gas to serving pressure. If you don't vent the gauge will still read 30 psi, regardless of how far you turn the tap down.

    New to Corny help please

I set mine at 30psi for 24 hours, then vent and set it at about 8 psi to serve.

British IS schoolgirl 'wants to return home'

Yeah, it'll end with a family of terrorists living in a £1,000,000 council house in London.

    Oxygen Question

You wouldn't want to be shaking a full fermenter even if you were strong enough, the lid will definitely come off.

I'm just across the water in Kent. I don't think I can send them full, so would need to be collected.
