Just about to start my first brew using @gingerneil's most excellent iSpindel, when a question or two occurred. How accurate is the iSpindel's temperature sensor, given that it is well thermally insulated from the wort by the air inside the tube? I can understand that over a longer time period...

Jim It's quite amazing what memories a long forgotten smell can evoke. I shall never forget the unique smell of the Guinness brewery in Dublin when I visited aged 11, when I should have been far too young to appreciate this brewing business. Maybe that's what got me started! Cheers Chris

It's not so much the worry, more the fascination of watching the thing do its stuff. This is still a new toy! What would be really useful though, would be a wifi hydrometer - does such a beastie exist?
