    Happy new year all Here's to 2021 Had a titanic plum porter and a couple of my own Young's Oaked Rum Ale. As we get rid of 2020 time for a Johnny Walker Green Label. Only comes out on my birthday and new years. 😁😁 Cheers Jon

    Looks a good pint Tanglefoot, one for the list. I'm really looking forward to my MJ Juicy. Did the Young's IPA, lovely pint, but didn't half take its time.

    How`s the Alt Bier turned out - I have the Belgian Xmas Ale fermenting at the moment - 14 days and still bubbling !! I used 500 g of Dark Candy Suger, 500g Dextrose, 1 kg table suger as per instructions - it`s just tipped 6% and rising Cheers Jon

    Quick update - 14 days in fermenter, still bubbling, although only occasionally now !! Temp today is around 23C - Gozdawa recommend a temp between 23 to 25 so in range - I have been keeping it as close to 24 over the last 2 weeks Starting Gravity was 1.053, today took a reading of 1.007 so...

    I remember them!! Sure I had one, but must have got thrown out years ago, wish I had kept it now. It was a hydrometer and syphon in one, so you could draw a sample off, direct into itself to take a reading if memory serves me.
