Bumping this a bit, so sorry...... I've ordered a 2 micron SS from China eBay... I was gonna rig it up to a pump for inflating air beds rather than an O2 canister or aquarium pump. Its quite powerful. What's your thoughts fellow brewers ?

My fermenter is a SS pot and tap from angelhomebrew.....No seal, just the lid; It goes into the temp cont fridge and left for 2 weeks without any fiddling- not lost a brew yet to it..... the fridge seals seem to do all the sealing i need.

Since using a fermenter fridge and a simple stainless steel pot to ferment in, all controlled by an stc100.....never had an issue.......but before that it was so hit n miss I gave up for about 5 years....

UJust upgraded my brew system to pumps fitted to the old mash run and hlt ......I have really enjoyed doing all the additions and alterations.....anyway used it for the first time today- real good fun- and of course I left levers open, put the hoses on the wrong end of the pumps.....but that's...
