That's my closest too. I've never really had any problems. They do stock more water treatment stuff now though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Will this grain/seed still be ok?

Maybe try a small batch like a 1gal or do a split batch and just add it to some. That way if it's god-awful, which from what I've heard about wheatgrass is a distinct possibility:lol:, you haven't lost 23l of beer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Homebrew Forum Wine, Cider & Mead Competition Schedule

I had included Pear ciders with the other ciders in the style guide. I had put the traditional cider later in the year to give people time to get it brewed, conditioned and possibly aged. I could move it to earlier in the year if you think it would be better.

    Sugar additions.

I just had to look it up. Wikipedia says it's mixed with "insoluble matter such as wood ash, proteins, and bagasse fibres." It might turn out nice, but I would dissolve or melt it down in some water and strain or filter it to get rid of the insoluble crap before adding it to your brew. Sent...

    What did you brew today?

Just done a quick Brewferm Framboos tonight. Had to split it between 2 FVs as it's a 12l kit. Hopefully there won't be too much headspace with 8l in the 10l bucket and 4l in the 5l bucket. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ultimate Bavarian Wheat Beer - priming quantity?

I used about 120-130g in 25l wheat beer around Christmas. It's pretty well carbed up so that would probably be ok for you. 180g seems mental. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
