You don't necessarily need it to be screwed on at all. Mine just sits in the bottom of the fridge in its brackets. That way I can move or remove it as needed without having to screw anything.

I don't see why there would be any problem with using the yeast like that. You may find that the 2 batches have a slightly different taste or take more or less time, but that's part of the fun.

I don't know much about your linked filter. A brita filter would probably end up costing far more cos the cartridges aren't cheap. Do you have a Tesco nearby? They do 2l of water for 17p which I use. It only ã2.21 for 26l which works out about 5p a pint.

This is from the Royal Mail site, but I'm pretty sure it would be the same for any uk shipping.
So I think as long as your beer and cider is packaged correctly and less than 70% you should be ok.

I haven't had proper baileys in a couple of years since SWMBO had to go dairy free. But homemade vegan Baileys is a very good substitute.

I've been wanting to try a cherry beer too, probably a wheat or pale ale. Would this type of extract be the right kinda thing? https://www.olivenation.com/black-cherry-flavor-fountain.html
