    Many thanks for your input. I looked at various recipes and they used 3lb sugar to 8 pints water so I converted it to 6.5 lb for 10 litres. Confusing myself now, I think I actually used 6lbs 5oz. The amount of lemons varied a lot in different recipes. The rind was added to the flowers...
