After 48 hours, there is little or no foam on the top of the brewing bucket, is this normal? There was a good head of foam yesterday. When I crack the lid open, all smells as expected, just thought I would see more foam for a longer period. Any thoughts? Cheers, Pete

Thanks Banbeer, I used 800g of brewing sugar & did a starter yeast brew. All in the brewing bucket last night. Good foam already & the spare room smelling great. My opinion, not my Wife's! :laugh8: Cheers, Pete

Hi Buffers brewery, I love your mods to get the barrel into your fridge, quality clapa I blocked off the original pressure relief valve with a 3mm drill blank and some bearing lock. The bearing lock fluid sets ultra hard, gives a great seal and the drill blank is going nowhere! Cheers, Pete

It shouldn't be a problem as long as you let the gas go from the co2 cylinder into the barrel slowly. It's the pressure in the barrel that pushes against the rubber giving a seal. The big problem was the pressure relief rubber band, a veritable crap design done away with by fitting a...
