Going to brew a stout this weekend will this malt bill be ok, never brewed an all grain stout before

Just got in from a night shift and tried one of these beautiful beers. WOW tastes better than the original by a mile. I'm impressed going to brew this again, and probably again. I love ❤️ being able to make beer

My worst one was a St. Peter's golden ale kit. About the third brew I made. I think I pitched too warm or it got too hot fermenting. Still had a bad taste about 5 months later

I asked them about grain and they said they are looking into into it

The water coming off the grainfather chiller was surprisingly lukewarm hence I wasn't worried

That was the reason for the stepped mash

If you got a brew garage, you're lucky. Get a fridge and an inkbird with a greenhouse heater. If you've got the space you can easily make a brew fridge for £60 tops

Did a stepped mash 40c for 20min then 65c for 60 min. 60 min boil, reduced temp to 80c then whirlpooled flameout hops for 15 min with a paddle mixer. Got high hopes for this one! It's in the fermenting fridge at 18c

My recipe was 5250g Maris otter 300g caramalt 500g flaked oats 15g each of galaxy,mosaic and citra at 10 min 50g each of galaxy,mosaic and citra at 0 min 25g each of galaxy,mosaic and citra dry hop for 10 days 60g each of galaxy, mosaic and citra dry hop for 5 days.

Did my first grainfather brew yesterday. Found it takes longer than the biab I did before. It was a nice experience and did it outside with no hiccups.

Got a grainfather on the way, I'll post my review when I brew with it. Got a good discount so wasn't worth waiting any longer to splash out

I'm pretty good but lazy. Like the app control too. I think I would regret not getting the grainfather it looks better made. Although the ace looks like a great bit of kit

Looks good was thinking of making one of those. What's you're recipe if you don't mind

Drinking my punk IPA clone. Doesn't taste as hoppy as my usual don't know what went wrong. Only 2 weeks old. Still tasty though. Not short of giving head out of the mini keg though.
