I'd leave the beer a few days though (if you can) to let all the rubbish settle to the bottom again. If you've been moving it round it might have sent a lot of rubbish into suspension.
I feel your pain though. I lost a whole brew after attempting to dry hop in my keg with loose pellets...
My cornie kegs have dip tubes that go right to the very bottom into a small central well. Any hop matter tends to block them very easily. They get blocked in the "heads" where the disconnects go on. My brother's older kegs have dip tubes that stop about half an inch from the bottom and guess...
I got hold of some food grade lubricant from eBay. Apparently used in ice cream machines. Was a bit dearer than Vaseline but the tube has lasted years. My dad and brother have pinched a load of it as well for their corny keg o rings.
Depends on the size and his mood I think!!! I pay a tenner for an old 2kg fire extinguisher that's been converted (had from Keg Kingdom) a few years back. Might be worth calling to confirm a price before venturing to the delights of Stoke.
Called David Smithson Fuels, Kidsgrove.
A guy I use in Stoke will fill any cylinder......worryingly no questions asked. Probably only worthwhile if you had a few to fill and you were passing on the M6.
Evening all. I've been making all grain brews for the past year using exclusively Maris Otter pale malt. Approx 4kg for 23l batch.
I've just ordered some Hook Head Pale malt after reading some threads on the forum. But before I start that I've got some MO to use up. I've bought some...
On the subject of drilling through the side of fridges I've done a couple now with no problems. I start off by making a tiny test hole from the inside just through the inner plastic shell then have a tentative dig round through the hole with a blunt object e.g. thin allen key. If no tubing is...
I drank a load of Leffe Ruby whilst staying on a French camp site over the summer. I usually stick to pale hoppy summer beers but this was really drinkable. I started to research a recipe but found people generally very scathing about fruit beers. Anyone done a clone of Leffe Ruby?
The end of a corny keg of Citra and Amarillo Pale Ale along with a fair amount of hop residue.......#nature'slaxitive #poooomph
Planning to repeat the brew with different pale malt. Just about to order some Hook Head Pale malt based on advice from the forum.
Evening all.
Off to Harrogate at the weekend to meet some friends. Can anyone suggest anywhere decent for real ale or craft ale. I don't to waste any precious drinking time trawling the town for a decent pint. Any suggestions gratefully received.
I've got my corny kegs in a fridge. My inkbird tells me it's about 4 degrees in there. I've got an IPA and a Mary Jane clone on the go. They both taste ok but my dad commented they were a bit cold on the stomach. A quick Google round tells me cask ale is served at cellar temperature of 10-12...
Just in case it helps anyone else I managed to solve my login issues by following the advice in this video grainfather sent me. In fairness to the company they got back to me in three days which included a weekend.

Cheers. I joined that group last night in desperation. I've posted on there today. It's so annoying as it has worked until recently. I'll keep hunting.
I've used my GF app three times for brewing with no problems at all. I logged out of it tonight on my mobile to show my dad how to log in and it won't let me log in again. It just times out.
Reading on Google store reviews this seems to be a very common problem with no obvious cure. I've...
Would be interesting to know if anyone has tried this eg hopping at 75 degrees centigrade during the chill. I presume you could cool to 75 deg. Hop, then wait 20 mins then recommence the chill.
