I use mine other way round to pic, lugs on bottom. You have to bend slightly to squeeze it in before the malt pipe. If that makes sense!

Is it the false bottom? Mine came in a separate box, but I collected from Paul.

Haven't got the option to cold crash so going to filter when transferring to the bottling bucket. Can't wait now till it's ready to try!!

Bottled my 1st AG brew today (St Austell tribute) Coming from kits, are AG brews more "dirty"? Had a lot of suspended yeast lumps that I want expecting so quick dash to get a strainer! Some smaller bits will have gone into my bottling bucket and no doubt into a few bottles, hope it will be ok...

Brewed today and got 20.5l in fv. One thing i need to look at is how to measure the volume before the boil!! Had to guess the 26-27l!! False bottom worked well and pumped out to fv.
