What are you drinking tonight 2020.

Cracked my Junga Citra/mosaic pale ale to check carb (since Saturday). Carb nicely head falls away pretty quickly, but defo good carb after 15 mins drinking. Good aroma of pineapple/tutti frutti. Bitterness from Junga is well balanced, but limited fruity taste. Cheers everyone. acheers.

In tyne and wear, Nexus run the metro and their service is atrocious. Consistently late or trains out of service. Yet they never issue refunds but put the prices up without fail each year. To travel the equivalent of 3 miles for 10 mins it is about £3.50 one way, if they turn up. As a teacher in...

The council my missus works for encourage home working and there is a session as part of induction on how to do it. Saving on overheads and as said elsewhere trying to cut cars going into the city.

    The Coronavirus thread.

Stupidity and selfishness of some is ridiculous. See there was a story about someone from Edinburgh fined in Dorset. aheadbutt

    Sqeezing Hop Bags.

+1 for the bag squeeze, get as much of that good stuff out as possible. I put mine on a cooling rack above a spare fermenter and use a lid to press the hell out of it.

You're stuck in quarantine with only one group / composer.

I always wanted to see later period prodigy live. Looks a good/mental gig. I remember seeing them at Newcastle Mayfair way back, think it was just pre-fat of the land but could be wrong. Anyway, 1-2k capacity. My ears are still ringing.

You're stuck in quarantine with only one group / composer.

Me and the missus were going through gig tickets and stuff and we can account for about 30 gigs for them or Tim Burgess. @samale put oasis and that reminded me we saw the charlies at Finsbury park. 31 gigs :laugh8:

Why when someone again tries to analyse/criticise/offer a bit of evidence to suggest this multiple term government may have neglected us at some point which is being woke now, does the discussion come back to 'well, labour wouldn't have done any better'? You are all probably correct. They...

I still don't understand the point people are making about could labour do any better. That is a totally pointless arguement until the next election. To say someone else couldn't do any better doesn't make the present situation or handling of it any better, or less worse. If you were poorly, but...

I think the government sending a plane to Turkey to get the PPE is a very good decision. Taking ownership and responsibility. Now let's hope they get their distribution equally right.

If we've got billions and billions (yes, I've exaggerated) of PPE as the chancellor has more or less just stated why don't the gov say to all haulage companies 'here, stop delivering *** toys and Maris otter for a couple of days. Here's a few quid and get this stuff to the hospitals'
