How much would the taste alter if I moved it to a warmer part of the house say 20oc

Blonde ale partial mash (I think)

The packet said it will work up to 22oc so was gonna have it sitting at 16 to 18. The calculated said it most matched a blonde ale, but I'm with you and thinking it would more be a lager

    saflager s 23 tempreture range

alright guys, on the back of the packet it says tempreture range is between 9oc to 22oc, ideally between 12oc to 15oc. has anyone used this yeast strain at 18oc to 22oc? it must work at those temps im just wondering how well and if my lager will still be crisp at that temp or if its better to...

    conditioning kits v ag

yeah the kits have been very decent no complaints from me, AG is better i would say though. was just curious as to the difference in conditioning times. is there a reason why the kits take longer to develop ? glad its not just me that has noticed this

    conditioning kits v ag

hi guys, ive done a few kits and a few biab now and it seems to me that the biab brews seem to be drinkable quicker than the kits. has anyone else found this ? ive done a coopers heritage lager, youngs harvest pilsner and coopers canadian blonde and they dont seem to get good till about the six...

    Biab concentrate

One issue is my stove, it's an electric oven and four top and to be honest I think it would struggle to get a good strong rolling boil with that much liquid. It manages with the 6.5 but any more it would struggle I think. Truth be told it's just a small flat we have and every time an order for...

    Biab concentrate

clibit is correct, its the constraints of the space i have and size of pot thats stopping me doing bigger batches. the partial mash route is the way forward. ive made some cracking biab brews so far but only getting 7 to 8 bottles at a time. i wanna build up a bigger supply rather having to buy...

    Biab concentrate

Just had a look, seems to be the way forward for me I reckon. I'll cut the measurements in half but it seems a cracking way to go about it. Cheers buddy

    Biab concentrate

The pot is only 6.5 litres, perfect for one gallon after the boil. Partial mash ? I'll need to look that one up, cheers for pointing me in the right direction

    Biab concentrate

Hi guys, hope this one ain't too stupid. Do to logistics the only all grain I can do is one gallon Biab brews. I'm very happy with the results but was wondering how to make bigger batches. Would it be possible to make a strong wort and simply dilute it with more water to take the overall total...

Kit vs Extract beer vs BIAB vs All Grain

i would agree with most of comments here. having started with kits given as a gift (like most i would guess) i felt the results were ok but limited. they were coopers and young various lager kits which were decent but not great, say a 5 or 6 out of ten but definately better than most commercial...

    mini kegs...reusable ?

cheers. also quick follow up question, once the beer has fermented, i take i batch prime the beer as normal and it to carbonate and condition as i would for bottles. eg im a lager drinker so two weeks at room tempreture then in the fridge for a miniumum of four weeks ? and im guessing the shelf...

    mini kegs...reusable ?

excellent mate cheers. the mini kegs for sale dont have the wee tap at the bottom though its a co2 tap that pierces the the rubber bung at the top of the keg. im sure the principle would be the same though
