    Head retention

    Yeah some wheat malt or even carapils can aide head retention. I think there is some proiblwm with washing up liquid in that it destroys head, but I'm sure someone else on here can help more

    i bought this pack the other day as well, im looking forward to getting it on the go but im slightly troubled. the pack came with a packet of yeast and the guy said just to use the whole packet of yeast for a 4.5 litre brew. surely this is too much

    as im in scotland its got to be tennants if im out. my town doesnt have any craft pubs but a couple do stock a few different wheat beers which are pretty decent. any time im through in glasgow or edinburgh we head to a brew dog pub or the west brewary in glasgow and they are tremendous

    Favourite style

    im loving wheat beer just now ( just had long weekend in berlin) but usually a lager or pilsner drinker. i like trying to get more flavour into a lager whilst keeping them light and "clean". to be honest im not keen on ales or anything served warmer or flat.

    Brewery Tours

    i recently did the west brewary in glasgow. smallish tour but very well done, samples of all their beers, free glass and two course meal all included. overall excellent and the food was very good
