    Out of Date Kits

This thread is giving me hope. We have a 'Coopers Ginger Beer Kit' which is best before sept 18, so around two years over date, it also appears they no longer do the kit. Never brewed before. Given the above, with ten year old kits being ok to use still, maybe we just give it a go! Else...

Have I bought the wrong pump/engine?

Ended up finding some from a local supplier that worked with a little bit trimmed off with a saw! Got the cabinet together literally minutes beforr guests startrd arriving, flushed through with water till all the valves etc stopped sticking, and attached to the beer. One pump on a firkin, one...

Have I bought the wrong pump/engine?

Good post, but its for a Bonfire party and we'll be having the whole lot out in the one night. The real challenge is that having bought some Harry Mason cabinet type pumps, is to build a cabinet around them. And get hold of some Y-thread nuts and tails as that's what's in the bottom of the...

3/4" BSP Thread, 'L' thread and 'Y' Thread.

3/4" BSP Thread, 'L' thread and 'Y' Thread.

Am I right to think that both 'London' and 'Yorkshire' threads are no longer that common, and most pubs/installations will not be on 3/4 BSP? Obviously its only the hose tail and cask tap that effect this thread. But as I am setting up a new (small, private) installation I might as well pick...

Have I bought the wrong pump/engine?

Plenty of pumps on ebay, I have just bought and Angram clamp-on unit for around £70 including postage and am expecting it to arrive shortly. But as said, it does look like the one above is a 'cylinderless' one designed to the pressure fed. Daniel

    Beer engine

I have just joined the forum and become owner of a beer engine. A freind who owns aa pump sadly can't make our family Bonfire party so we turned to eBay to fill the hand pump gap. Knowing the brand and that spares are easy to come by we purchased a clamp on Angram unit which should arrive...
