I have just started to dabble in water treatment Thanks to guides on this forum, personally I think it helps get the best out of the ingredients and work towards creating beers to my taste
For anyone looking I just spotted malt miller have a weekend sale on grainfather equipment. Grainfather is £600, I'm tempted by a conical Fermenter myself but think I need to do more research before splashing out.
Has anyone found it depends on the type of beer? I brewed a neipa and after reading heavily hopped beers are best fresh I cracked on after a week. I didnt notice any difference in flavour by wk4.

This is my attempt I stuck to the recipe and dry hopped with loose pellets, didn't use any Irish moss of finings as I don't mind a misty brew.

Just finished brewing this recipe og 1046 so pleased with that now all I have to do is wait for it to be ready :( . Thanks for sharing your recipe its the first bitter I have attempted.
Hi, thanks for sharing this recipe I brewed it a month or so ago and tried it at the weekend, really pleased with the result light refreshing pale. I did somehow manage to overshoot the og an ended up at 6%
