What have you been cooking in your air fryer?

Not really. The big one does pressure cooking, slow cooking, roasting, sous vide, etc. as well as air frying. The smaller one is great for chicken wings, fry up and biscuits for my little one.

What have you been cooking in your air fryer?

I made a roast in it for the first time yesterday (instapot crisp duo). Came out really well actually. Only thing I would change would be the timings and check with my probe more often... Was a little overcooked. Done the roasties in my other one (tower). Again they came out great.

    All Rounder Foam

I've done a few brews now following your advice and it's been hassle-free since then. The only thing is add is about getting the floating dip tube to the right length. I was afraid to take too much off it but I've been trimming it down bit by bit and it doesn't get caught up at the side while...

Who uses the fine mesh plate in Brewzilla?

No. I rarely even use the tap. I brew with my BZ on two milk crates and pump the wort out. It's handy for splashing it around.

Who uses the fine mesh plate in Brewzilla?

If it's less than 14 months old if say that's it.

Who uses the fine mesh plate in Brewzilla?

Sorry. I'm half asleep here 😂 That plate didn't come with mine. I rang up BKT to ask about it (I had seen it in all the videos I watched before buying) and they said Kegland discontinued it because it's useless.

Who uses the fine mesh plate in Brewzilla?

Lovely. I've been think of removing the overflow for a while now. The only issue I seen to have with the fine mesh plate is it lifts during the boil sometimes.

Who uses the fine mesh plate in Brewzilla?

My hop spider (that came with it) got thrown in the bin on my last brew. The mesh just completely blocked up and there was no mixing. I've only used it 4/5 time in the year I've had it and I reckon you don't need it (I was doing a Kolsch and thought it would be a good idea to use it). If the...

Luis Rubiales: Spanish government takes FA chief to tribunal after World Cup final kiss

I don't think he asked to do it but I reckon she was cool with it at the time and something has changed afterwards.  Still a silly thing to do whatever his intent was.

Luis Rubiales: Spanish government takes FA chief to tribunal after World Cup final kiss

She said it was fine at first and it was just a happy moment. I hope she's not being pressured to speak out like this. That's worse than what this guy did. Cultures are different in other countries. I get sick of being kissed when I visit my wife's family in Romania 😂 This was on TalkSport the...

    My beer label artwork

That's a great idea. My brewfridge just sits in the corner of my spare room looking like we're in the middle of moving.

    Kveik

How much do you pitch? 5g? 10g?
  13. MrJay83

    Kveik

    Lovely. Hadn't come across that.

    Kveik

I've only used the Lallemand so I'm a bit excited to try the KY range. Plus I'm not too trendy anyway 😂
  15. MrJay83

    Kveik

That's what I was planning on doing. Not done it before and am just experimenting. When you say Voss do you mean Lallemand? I've read that it's only this Nordic multi-strain Kveik that does well with the drying & freezing. I could be 100% wrong here and am just starting to dip my toes into this...

Are Kveik Yeastery strains harvestable? i.e. Stalljen, Eitrheim, Ebbergarden, Voss.

What are you drinking tonight 2023.

My tropical chocolate stout. Citra & El Dorado and Nottingham yeast. 6% and moreish.

    Increasing ABV with sugar addition?

I've done it a couple of time now when I missed my targets and I always notice a thinness to the beer. Most recently a NEIPA. I added 500g and it's still nice but it tastes much thinner than the previous time I brewed the recipe.

    Freezing wort

Down to 36C already. I wasn't expecting that. This could be a 3 am pitch 😂

    Freezing wort

I agree 100% about getting the air out for long-term storage but it will be in my fermenter in the morning (hopefully). I used that Hophead M66 yeast recently and it took about 36 hours before any sign of activity. To me, this is much the same.
