    As it happens my bottling FV with tap cracked recently so I'm forced into using an alternative. I will get round to setting up a beer system once the thousand other things have been dealt with.

    I have a lovely stainless steel bottling stick but it doesn't fit any of my FV or barrel taps. I now bottle using a jug and funnel attached to a short length of tubing. used to for several brews now an seems to work fine.

    Seems a lot of variation in price at the moment. £1.89 at Morrisons and 5 miles down the road £1.78.

    Barrel Aged Imperial Stout

    Celtic Timber are only a few miles from me. I bought some nice oak planks to make a book case for my granddaughter. With her little brother arriving at the end of the year, I'll be ordering some more. Very helpful.

    There was a line of those across the yard from my Nan's back door and if you were caught short in the night there was a 'guzunda' - so called because it guzunda your bed. I'd go and stay for two weeks in the summer, up to when I was ten and she moved into sheltered accommodation.
