Coopers kits rarely disappoint. I've done a couple and once bought a Coppers stout and mixed it with a Wilko bitter kit as both were out of date. Turned out very nice!

I finished my last bottle of a Directors kit that had been in the bottle for 10 months this evening. I have one more Directors kit to do. Good beer though not quite the same as the original product.

Six/seven weeks in the bottle and my Porter is being to taste other good. The liquorice flavour was quite strong at 4 weeks but has mellowed now and I think this could become a firm favourite. I'll take it easy to make sure I have some for Christmas

E5 seems to have been slower coming down which is a shame as I prefer it. Like you I get better economy and a smother drive

Don't forget that an American gallon is smaller than a UK one 128 fl oz vs 160. so the US one is 20% smaller (or the the Imperial is 25% bigger if you prefer).
