I use an under counter too with a shelf made of 12mm ply. If you invert the stand to the lowest setting and tilt the gas post to the front then you can easily fit a gas disconnect. I attach that to a spunding valve.

Yes, was good too. I often swap out with Kveik but just used what it came with (rehydrated) and no problem. It ended up about 4.2%.

I do closed loop transfer to the brim - ie, it starts to come back up the gas line. I pre pressurise to 12 psi and have the same serving pressure in the Keg. No idea how much that is beer wise though.

Thank you, hugely appreciated. Are you using a bag in the grain tube - if so, is the dead space effectively the dead space to the tap which your not decanting into the fermenter? I ask as on my 2 uses so far I've put it all in the fermenter. Thanks again.

I'm fairly new to kegging etc but I went with fridge (it can fit 2 19L cornies a smaller 5L/9L keg and a 6Kg Gas bottle). I went with fridge for cosmetic reasons and because I didn't fancy lifting 19L into a chest freezer).

The first kit brew I kegged I oxidized. It looked like that but also tasted bad. I'd purged the keg but clearly not enough and hadn't purged either the gas or beer line. It was an early lesson for me and meant that I now always Star San purge the keg and beer line and burst purge the gas line.
