    Full brew kit for sale.

Yea that's fine with me, pic 10 minus the bazookas right? Just to be clear also, the misc fittings are 1/2" not 3/4" like the taps, just noticed I missed that out.

    Full brew kit for sale.

Got a full brew kit for sale. Have been buying this kit over the last few months, managed to brew with it once (the pots had a previous owner) but now I need to sell as my wife just took a job in the US and I don’t have anywhere to store it. QD = Quick Disconnect 1 x 22.7l stockpot with...

    Trillium Fort Point Pale Ale

Quick question, I ran this recipe through the recipe builder on this site and it was only 4.4% if I wanted to fill my kettle for boil which is a little weak for my liking. I upped the grain volume while keeping the % ratio of each grain the same as the original recipe to get 5.3% and the OG and...

NE IPA too ambitious for first go at AG?

Have done on the recipe builder on this site, I have Beersmith on my phone too but not done that yet.

NE IPA too ambitious for first go at AG?

Sounds good, I'm definitely going to try this style. My recipe has more MO and less Crystal so shouldn't be too dark for me. Would you recommend mashing at a lower temp then if you struggled to hit FG?

NE IPA too ambitious for first go at AG?

Any Calcium Chloride in particular? Not sure if I can buy in supermarkets or just Home Brew stores? Also, as you both seem to have experience with NE IPA, I grabbed some Marris Otter last night, is that a good base malt for NE IPA or should I get something better? Also grabbed some Wheat Malt...

NE IPA too ambitious for first go at AG?

My plan was to use bottled water as I don't like our tap water at all. I have just done an online water report and there is so much info (10 page PDF) I have no idea what to post  Here's the main headings; HARD water. Calcium carbonate(CaCO3): 253 ppm Natural fluoride content of your...

NE IPA too ambitious for first go at AG?

I currently have two recipe threads that a few people have kindly helped me piece together recipes for based on the kinda beers I love, NE Hop Bombs. Have been told a few times it's quite an ambitious recipe for my first ever brew and reading some other people's attempts at it, it looks like...

    No that's perfect, thanks again.

    Trillium Fort Point Pale Ale

Thanks for the info. I'll punch the recipe again tonight and see if it has sorted out. So for volumes, correct me if I'm wrong. 20l into kettle (almost no dead space) for 60 min boil should give me 18l into FV. 3kg of grain would mean 23l in the mash tun for wort? How do I decide the...

    Trillium Fort Point Pale Ale

Think I need some help with this if anybody can lend a hand. Finally have time over the next week to brew so I am looking to order some malt. I put this recipe into the brew calculator on this site and it keeps coming up with an IBU of 560, what am I doing wrong? Also, can anybody recommend a...

Beer Hawk now selling HB equipment.

Had a quick scan and couldn't see this has been posted. Looks like the AB Inbev deal has allowed them to bring more than US beer to these shores, quite a lot of US made homebrew equipment now available on their site that I haven't seen for sale over here previously...

BBNo 21|06 Pale Ale Recipe help?

Not had chance yet unfortunately, have been quite busy. I do have the hops ready for this recipe and the Trillium one I posted too, so when I get chance I'll order the malt and yeast then crack on with them. Will post results.

    Trillium Fort Point Pale Ale

They constantly release different dry hopped versions, Mosaic has been my favourite of the ones I've had.
