    Krups Sub keg & homebrew

Got one of these last week and just ordered a Young's IPA kit to test fill the torps when they're empty. Have you had anymore priming issues since your first go? Wondering if I should use the priming sugar that comes with the kit or add carbonation drops to the torp like he did in the video.

SS Brewtech with Recirc Pump setup.

I haven't used it yet, it does seem to spread the flow quite nicely. I know from watching the Clawhammer videos that they seem to pick up the lid and move the nozzle around quite a bit to help spread it out.

SS Brewtech with Recirc Pump setup.

I think he used a grainfather pump with the controller. Might be a way to connect it anyway.

SS Brewtech with Recirc Pump setup.

I don't think my pump would plug into it? It's just a regular 3 pin wall plug. These are what I've seen, my kettle is 40cm wide and 50cm tall so quite a bit larger than anything I've seen. It'd be easier if I had a 10 gallon kettle, but I managed to get this 15 gallon for way cheaper than a 5...

SS Brewtech with Recirc Pump setup.

Just got all the fixings and fittings together for my new brew kettle, so testing them out. I took inspiration from the Clawhammer kit as I like their setup but didn't want to pay the price. Also thanks to @DavidHatton who shared a lot of info about his similar setup. I still need to buy an...

    Cheap Starter Kit ok eBay

Just received mine, had a little play around and it seems like a good kit for the price. Regarding the lid, mine also seemed quite loose, but I just realised you have to press down very hard on it to make it click in place. I got directly above the bucket, put both palms on the same side and...

    Cheap Starter Kit ok eBay

I'm going to brew it this weekend if the estimated delivery is correct and it arrives Saturday. Never done an extract brew before, started with all grain so should be an experience.

    Cheap Starter Kit ok eBay

Is the lid a problem? I know NB have a lid removal tool so I wasn't sure if it'd be difficult to take off/on. Also interested to see what it looks like, as the ebay listing has a few different kits in the images.

Cheers, just ordered one as I needed some new fermentation buckets and I prefer the US style ones, the pot will come in handy too. Still says 4 left if anyone else wants one.
