I'm slightly dubious of the ability of yeast to save beer from the effects of oxidation. The lag phase in primary is normally a few hours, so presumably in bottles it will also take a few hours for the yeast to scavenge all of the oxygen? Is this not long enough for the oxygen to already...

do you reckon the holes in one of those would be small enough to actually catch stuff?

Has anyone found a way to create some sort of false bottom for the SS brewbucket. Ideally something that would allow yeast to settle through it, but keep hop debris on top (if such a thing is possible), or just filters the clear beer like a kettle false bottom? My LHBS only sells whole leaf...

I get quite a bit of condensation when brewing in the winter. I tried putting in an extractor fan, but it hasn’t made any difference. I was thinking of trying to do something with a length of tumble dryer hose, with on end attached to the extractor fan, and the other end to some sort of large...

I have no clips on any of my lines (including gas) and have had no leaks, even when burst carbonating at 50psi.

Are you still trying to shift the brew pi?

What did your recipe end up as in the end, and is there anything you’d change next time, or having had the second keg do you reckon it’s there?

Which bit of the hop profile is it that the high sulphate emphasises - is it the hop bitterness or the late addition aroma / flavour contributions? From what I read, I had always assumed it was (at least in part) the late addition hop character, but this seems to go against the recommendation...

That’s fine in theory, but I o lot have space for one 2 keg kegerator, and nowhere else to condition additional legs.

Does Kveik speed up conditioning as well as fermentation?
