    Lets start another contentious Thread

This! My wife us a Consultant and she retired last week, she can claim her pension now as she has MHO status. She didn't want to retire but pension tax rules are taking huge chunks of her pension every year. And lifetime allowance will take another huge chunk. Crazy system.

    First attempt at Apple Cider

I've done the same but in a Pinter, well 2 Pinters, been on 7 days so far. I've no idea which to tell if fermented out as my iSpindel died an untimely death. Anyone have any idea how long fermentation under pressure will take? Used MJ cider yeast.

Mangrove Jacks Mango Pale Ale review

You beat me to it. That Siren bore no resemblance to beer. In addition to the MJ beers lauded above, can I add their Raspberry Weiss to tge list if truly excellent kitsfrom them? It is a lovely pint, with the rasps not over powering.

    Bottle rinsers

I'm afraid I've never tried. Works OK on small crown cap bottles. TBH I found skooshing from tap and a good shake just as easy.

    Bottle rinsers

I have the the first one and never use it as it doesn't work on PET Bottles as the opening on bottle is too big.

    Kegerator. Build or buy?

Or you could build a keezer. £80 for a freezer, £20 for timber to make collar, £140 for 4 flow control taps., £20 for manifold, £50 for a regulator cost of beer and gas lines. Plus Co2.

    Fermzilla All Rounder Question

Yes, I have discovered this, my KK Gen 3 blew off the trub collector bottle. Fortunately the plunger valve saved the rest of my brew. Spunding valve ordered.

    DIY pressure fermenter info

I'm surprised that most people dont fit floating dip tubes to short dip tubes in their kegs. I've got one in my Pressure Fermenter and it seeems an obvious upgrade to kegs. Just ordered one but haven't fitted yet as all kegs full of beer. Must drink quicker :)
