    Corsa.

Vauxhall are German. I had this issue on my 3 series, fried the ecu, cost me about £3k in parts and labour to have it fixed.

    Colm89’s Brewdays

31 January 2021: Dupont saison clone I hadn’t planned to brew this weekend but all of my stars aligned (GEB delivery came early and all of my fermenters were free), so I carved a few hours out today to brew a saison modelled on the dupont recipe. I will caveat this with the fact that I have...

    Colm89’s Brewdays

Busy weekend for me! 30th January 2021: Bottled/kegged my leftovers apa and imperial stout Put 5 litres of apa into the mini keg, hit it with 30psi for 24 hours and now it’s conditioning at serving pressure til next sunday. Managed to get one more bottle out of it. Got 7 bottles each out of...

    Belle Saison Fermentation Advice

Brewing an 8 litre batch of saison tomorrow with belle saison and keen to hear others experience on pitch and fermentation temps. Had a quick poke around the site and saw people mention 20 Celsius and ramping to 24 celsius, but how long should I hold it at 20 for? How long should I take to ramp...

    Keg help

I might be wrong but I think they’re the same and the more expensive one includes co2? I‘d suggest giving them a call or email and they’ll sort you out!

    Keg help

Brülosophy have some good articles on carbonating in a keg, but here is a good place to start. I usually start with 24hrs at 30psi, then leave it rest at serving pressure for a week if I can wait that long.

    Keg help

I don’t have much space at the minute and only brew smaller batches so got a 5 litre keg kit from ikegger, but going for cornies is the long term goal. Sounds like this has everything to get started, and they have a warehouse in Dundalk so no hidden import costs. I get 80% of my brewing stuff...

    Colm89’s Brewdays

I took a reading on the leftovers apa on Wednesday (3 days of fermentation) and it had hit the target fg of 1.014, so I left it another 2 days and checked again just now to see no change: its now cold crashing til Sunday!

What are you drinking tonight 2021?

Aha I should say I’m not actually in Sligo town! Just bought a house in Enniscrone! When things are back to normal I’ll take a trip to Sligo! I went to uni in Dublin and moved to London, so Sligo seems cheap in comparison!

What are you drinking tonight 2021?

Pretty sure I’ve seen it somewhere recently alright but can’t place where! Possibly when I was in Ballina doing the shopping last weekend! My list of beers to try is growing!

What are you drinking tonight 2021?

I’m from Meath originally, moved to London in 2013 but moved back to Ireland (Sligo) last year! Will pick up some kinnegar next time I see it!

I’m on my own bohemian pilsner tonight and still mighty impressed at my first attempt at this style!

What are you drinking tonight 2021?

@samale you‘re obviously Irish! I’ve not yet had the pleasure of trying larkins since I moved home but I’ve heard great things! Very familiar with the 8 degrees offerings and really like them!

    Fourpure Easy Peeler Recipe?

Of all the beers I drank during my time in London, this is probably the one I have the fondest memories of, but no clue of what it’s made up of. Asking here in the hope that someone might even be able to point me in the right direction to get started!

Recommend me a small stainless steel fermenter

Its payday tomorrow and I am buying a ss fermenter, but am totally torn between the following two: Brewbuilder mini fv - looks like they are still shipping to Ireland, current conversion rates excluding VAT make it a hair under €125, which from what I can make out means I won’t have to pay...
