    carbonation help for Mexican beer

I was going to reply but as Scott has said this then I dont need to - I used carb drop in mexican cerveza and had to re-open every bottle and re-prime with my trusty caster sugar to get any kind of fizz. I would recommend a big bag of caster sugar which will last for 5 or so brews. And...

    carbonation help for Mexican beer

I would say ditch the 330ml bottles they are such a faff, after the sediment lay-off there will only be a half pint at most to pour into your glass. Use pint bottles or 660ml and share if you have to. Either way it takes ages to bottle em all

    Fermentables in beer kit

In theory DME should be pretty much a direct replacement for dextrose, as should BKE. However i usually add 1-200g extra DME when using instead of dextrose.

It has been in the FV for arounde 36 hours but there is not a lot going on, a bubble maybe every 5 minutes and no head at all...

    LME VS DME

DME is broken up much better in cooled boiled water around 30-40 degrees, if it is too hot it goes clumpy

    chill haze

I had an issue with my Cooper's Cerveza - it was cloudy as hell for around 8 weeks. However after this time it cleared down and is now crystal. Therefore i would just recommend leaving it longer (and get another brew on in the meantime)

Just how good is home brewed Lager ?

Hello - i used 700g BKE1 500g Pre-Hopped Muntons Extra Light DME 30g Saaz Hop Tea Bottled with 1 carb drop. I wouldnt even go near it for at least 8 weeks, any time before this and it really tastes like homebrew. I tried one bottle after four weeks and it smelt of eggs. From week 8 onwards...
